Guitarist Adam Hawley, currently a resident of Los Angeles, started his music career in the Portland Metro Area of Oregon before moving to Southern California in 2002. He graduated in 2008 with a Master’s from the University of Southern California, and two years later, he completed a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Studio/Jazz guitar there. Currently, Adam also teaches at the Musician’s Institute, Chaffey College, and Saddleback College. So far, he has appeared on shows or festivals like Seabreeze Jazz Fest, Catalina Jazz Fest, Cancun Jazz Fest, Dave Koz and Friends Cruise or American Idol, and he has performed and/or recorded with such artists as Lalah Hathaway, Jennifer Lopez, Natalie Cole, Sheila E, Larry Graham, Flo Rida, Kenny Latimore, Brian Culbertson, Richard Elliott, Euge Groove, Gerald Albright, Kirk Whalum, Jeff Lorber, Phillipe Saisse, Mindi Abair, Keiko Matsui. 2016 has been an exciting year for him: His debut record “Just The Beginning” was released in March. The first single “35th St.” featuring Eric Darius had the longest run at #1 on Billboard in 2016 (5 weeks). And also the second one, “Joy Ride” co-written and produced with Greg Manning, hit the Top Ten on Billboard. Furthermore, Adam has been named both Smooth Jazz News and JazzTrax Debut Artist of the Year.
