FRANK FELIX

Bass

Bassist Frank Felix was born in London, UK. He studied Jazz and Light Music at Leeds College of Music and Sandown College of Performing Arts (S.C.O.P.A.). At the latter he worked for a while as a Bass Tutor. Over the years, he has collaborated and joined stage with a lot of famous artists from various genres, such as Nelly Furtado, Fatboy Slim, Rick Braun, Warren Hill, Patrice Rushen, Chuck Loeb, Richard Elliot, Brian Simpson, Jeff Kashiwa and Mindi Abair. Furthermore, he has been long time bassist for Peter White and Dave Koz in Europe and is part of the UK Collective with Oli Silk and Mark Jaimes. Last but not least, he was a member of Acoustic Alchemy for seven years recording five albums. In 2006, he left the band to pursue a solo career. His first album, “Funky Underground: Vol 1”, was released in 2007.
